Streetside science on Google Street ViewI could never figure out how they did this. So they drive around and take pictures all day. Once they are done, you can see what things look like before you go there. Just go to Google Maps and then locate any location. Next drag your Gold Google Dude anywhere on the map. Wal la, you can see the location as if you were standing in the middle of the road. Great way to remember an address just in case you have been somewhere and need an address. Just drag Gold Google Dude to the location, have a look to see that the location is indeed familiar and then get the address. I am sure not many people have used it that way before. It can be done like that though.
